Medan, Indonesia – November 2024 – From November 14 to 19, 2024, PrimeOne School organized its much-anticipated annual cultural tour, taking its founder, board members, top-performing students, teachers, and staff on a memorable trip to China, with a total of 46 participants.
The tour combined history, culture, and modern experiences, starting with a scenic boat ride on West Lake, where participants admired the natural beauty of this UNESCO World Heritage site. Key highlights included visits to the Yuefei Temple, the Sudi Bridge, and the bustling Qing & Ming Street. The group also enjoyed the Song Dynasty Show, a deep dive into China’s rich artistic heritage.
In Shanghai, the group explored the famous Yu Garden, shopped at the Cheng Huang Miao Market, and relaxed at the trendy Xintiandi district. They also stopped for coffee at the Instagram-worthy Starbucks Reserve Roastery and enjoyed the cutting-edge Era Circus show.
The tour concluded with a fun-filled day at Disneyland Shanghai, followed by the group’s return to Medan, enriched by new cultural experiences and lasting memories.
This cultural tour serves as a token of appreciation and recognition from PrimeOne School for the hard work and dedication of its students, teachers, and staff.
