PrimeOne School Celebrating the 75th Indonesia Independence Day Virtually

Independence Day celebrations at school often mean beautifully decorated classrooms in ribbons and flags, and games competitions which students proudly joined. This year, with schools shut due to the pandemic, celebrations have shifted online.

Elementary students of SPK PrimeOne School (POS) held an online flag ceremony to commemorate Indonesia’s 75th independence day. The spirit of independence is still felt by the entire POS family, especially students and all the teachers, staffs and parents despite the current pandemic conditions.

All students and parents followed the ceremony seriously from the beginning to the end of the ceremony. Students also participated in several sections, including reading the 1945 Constitution, POS Student’ commitment, praying, national song singing and poem reading.

Beforehand, students also had participated in the online competition which is making a speech entitled “My Contribution to my Country”. Students posted their speech on Instagram (IG) and tagged school’s IG account.

Elementary School Principal, Lie Ni, M.Pd. in his remarks encouraged all students to contribute positively in this year’s independence day, by always being active in studying, respecting parents and others and obeying the regulations applied in our country.

Let us continue praying for the recovery of our nation out of this pandemic.

Merdeka, Merdeka, Merdeka!!!
